Year 9 NAPLAN Literacy Class
Sun, April 30, 2017, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM AEST
From 2017, year 9 students need to achieve with Band 8 or above in their Year 9 NAPLAN (reading, writing and numeracy). If not, they will then have to sit subsequent online tests in year 10, 11 and 12 to demonstrate the minimum HSC requirements.
However, based on the latest NAPLAN result (2016), more than half of all students in the reading, grammar and punctuation, spelling and numeracy tests received Band 7 or below. In writing, more than two-thirds of students scored Band 7 and below.
Harry's Education Centre is introducing a Year 9 NAPLAN LITERACY class this year. The aim of the course is to introduce and develop literacy skills to equip your children early for the Year 9 NAPLAN reading and writing exams.
