Description

Tactics for developing resilience, leadership and study skills

This workshop targets students entering Year 10 and 11 in 2019 to prepare for their last years of high school. The focus is to equip students with the tools and strategies they require to revise and reinforce a range of study skills, assisting students to study more effectively and to consolidate their understanding in preparation for examinations. The workshop also helps students to improve their critical thinking skills and habits of mind, and to increase students' confidence in their ability to do well.

Facilitator

Raymart Walker is completing his qualifications in Secondary Education and International Studies at USC. He has been active in student success initiatives locally, nationally and internationally for many years. Raymart has recently returned from a cultural exchange to Japan as a New Colombo Plan scholar. He understands how to thrive in modern learning environments, and is passionate about global leadership and empowering others to achieve their goals.
