This great heritage tour is an opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at the oldest operating Government Nursery in Australia. It includes entry to the Yarralumla Nursery’s seed bank which dates back to 1948 and contains the details of every seed and plant we have acquired over the years.

You will learn about our unique history and current operations, such as:

• Providing the Plant Issue Scheme since 1930

• Growing cool climate plants

• Propagation of rare and endangered plants
