Yanada 'Moon' Yarning

WEAVING ABORIGINAL SOUNDS, STORIES & DANCE WITH YOGA AND LIVE MUSIC
We invite you to an Aboriginal yanada 'moon' yarning, where aboriginal songs, stories dance and yoga will be united with indigenous music from South and North America,
Binowee, a proud Aboriginal woman, a descendant of the Wonnarua and Bundjalung Nations of NSW and the Birri Gubba and Kungalu Nations of QLD, will lead the workshop with her powerful song and strong spirit. Heartdancers invites you to collaborate and to participate in aboriginal culture, to respect it and carry it within your heART
Musician, songwriter and sound healer Pato Lara will also take participants on a transformative and powerful journey full of sacred sounds influenced by Indiginous music from South and North America, singing bowls, charango, flutes and medicinal drums among others. He has been blessed to experience the wisdom of different indigenous cultures that use sound in their shamanic healing practice or dream journeys.
Yoga teachers Sandra Morales will incorporate ancient and modern active meditation techniques with yoga as tools that can accelerate our path towards physical, mental, emotional and spiritual mastery.
Heartdancers is a charity that provides music, dance and yoga classes to disadvantaged communities. The $45 fee we receive from this workshop is used to help fund our program in parnership with SSI Ability Links for the Social Inclusion Week supporting refugee people with special needs, please visit www.heartdancers.org.au to know more about our program or to become a member.
