Event description

Description

Struggled with getting your head around Biology so far? Scared you’ll get left behind as the year progresses?

In this Year 11 Prelim Kickstarter Holiday Workshop, we’re going to help you master the hardest parts of what you’ve already learnt so you’re prepared for next term!

This workshop will be delivered in a live, interactive online format with an experienced teacher.

In this 2.5 hour workshop during the school holidays on Friday 17th April from 9:30am-12:00pm, we will help you:

  • Master nutrient and gas requirements, gas exchange structures, transport systems and gas exchange.
  • Develop a strong understanding of adaptations, evolution and diversification.
  • Learn how to apply all of this to HSC-style questions!

Why is it important to master this now?

Mastering gas requirements and exchange structures is important to allow you to easily transition into year 12. Evolution will be built upon in MOD 5 year 12 and getting your head around these concepts will be beneficial in allowing you to get ahead in year 12

What’s included?

  • 2.5-hour workshop run by an incredible teacher
  • Small personalised class – so you’re not one of 100 students in a big lecture room. We cap the sessions at 12 students maximum
  • Lesson notes and practice questions to help you master Year 11 Bio!

How can I attend and what is the cost?

Seats are strictly limited to 12 spots, so book your place in our class today!

Investment: $99 (incl GST) for 2.5 hour workshop
Date: Friday 17th April
Time: 9:30am – 12pm

Covid 19 Update:

Due to ongoing concerns around COVID-19, this workshop will be delivered digitally via an online web conferencing platform and online whiteboard to ensure students and families can stay safe and healthy. This will be determined closer to the date depending on ongoing updates from the relevant government authorities and based on an evaluation of risk.
