Xero Interactive Workshop June 2017 - presented by Tashly Consulting.

Learn how to become a Xero Hero!

This 1-day hands-on course led by a CPA qualified Certified Xero Adviser will provide participants with a broad exposure to the various facets of the Xero accounting package, and provide practical examples utilising the various features of the software.

The course is suitable for either business owners, employees working in the accounts/bookkeeping function in business or by bookkeeping or accounting professionals looking to grasp a better understanding of how the Xero software works in a practical sense.

Topics covered include; Organisational & Financial settings, Customising your Dashboard, User Management, Chart of Accounts, Contacts Management, Sales processing & Invoice Settings, Purchases, Bank Feeds & Reconciliations and Reporting including Activity Statements - working with real-life examples.

Do I have to bring my Laptop?

Yes, you will need to bring your own WiFi enabled laptop with Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox web browser installed to undertake the session. Participants will need to have their own username & password to access Xero. (created prior to the event)

Workshop Manual

Exercise worksheets will be provided for use during the session, and attendees have to option to purchase a comprehensive manual of the complete workshop for $55 inc GST at the event.



Is catering included?

We will have facilities for tea and coffee making during the morning and afternoon tea breaks. A light lunch will be provided such as sandwiches and a fresh fruit platter. If you have any particular dietary requirements we should be aware of, please advise in the registration form.

There are several eateries & cafes located on Pirie Street & nearby for additional snacks/lunch/coffee should participants want to organise something for their own lunch – below are a few suggestions:

What time is the event?

The training session commences at 9:30am and we anticipate that the day's session will be complete around 4:00 pm - with 4:30pm at the latest depending on the speed in which the group can work through the modules and exercises provided.
