X-CHANGE FEST is an all-new music festival that aims to promote and showcase diversity in the Australian music scene. Hosted at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory, with an incredible line-up of groundbreaking talent X-CHANGE FEST is set to come alive on Sunday 23 May 2021.
The jam-packed X-CHANGE FEST line-up features a gamut of live music acts of culturally diverse and underrepresented talent. The program line-up includes acts JamarzOnMarz, ALPHAMAMA, ANGE, AYA J, Simran Sultana, Adechoon, BOLEYN, JËVA, ETHAN, Mr Rhodes, Nicole Issa, and Dizar Lee.
X-CHANGE FEST is brought to you by Ace Agency and the X-Change Music Initiative, and sponsored by the City of Sydney, Mushroom Music Publishing, and Studios 301. The group are thrilled to be supporting artists and live music in the City of Sydney after a challenging year in 2020.
The X-Change Music Program is an initiative that provides a spectrum of valuable opportunities to underrepresented artists. It aims to promote and increase the visibility, representation, and participation of diverse music makers in the Australian music scene and music economy.
Fifteen artists were selected by a music industry panel and the program curator, Lynley White Smith, to take part in music industry workshops, collaborative songwriting sessions, and professional song recordings.
X-Change Music Initiative was sponsored by the City of Sydney, Mushroom Music Publishing, and supported by Studios 301, DITTO, NATSIMO, and Higherground Consulting.
