About this event
Join special guest Wurundjeri woman and Woiwurrung language teacher Rebecca Axford for this storytime in recognition of National Reconciliation Week 2022.
In this Wurundjeri storytime children will learn about Woiwurrung language, dreaming stories and Wurundjeri culture through storytelling, dance and song.
Suitable for children aged 2–5 years.
The safety of our community and staff is our highest priority, so we’ve made some changes to the way Storytime works:
• To ensure social distancing is observed, we are limiting numbers at our Storytime sessions.
• It’s important to make a booking to attend and we also ask that you let us know ahead of time if you have booked and then can’t make it. Please ask our staff in branch or by phone on 1300 655 355 if you would like assistance with making a booking.
• Our Storytime will begin at 11.15am, but we ask that you arrive at 11.00am to ensure you have plenty of time to check in and get settled.
We know families come in all shapes and sizes. To deliver our Storytime sessions safely and observe social distancing requirements, your family booking allows you to bring one adult and up to two children. To bring additional family members, please make an additional booking.
