Description

The Women Researchers' Network invites you to hear from 3 extraordinary women researchers, sharing their experiences and journeys in the Homeward Bound program.

Homeward Bound is a ground-breaking, global leadership initiative for women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) - set against the backdrop of Antarctica - which aims to heighten the influence and impact of women in making decisions that shape our planet.

The 12-month program consists of online content and collaborative learning (11 months), face-to-face training on the ground in Ushuaia, Argentina (pre-voyage) and the on-board expedition to Antarctica.

The WRN is excited to have 3 past Homeward Bound participants from RMIT share with us:

- Dr Charlotte Conn (Homeward Bound 2018-19)

- Dr Samantha Grover (Homeward Bound 2016)

- Ms Amanda Sinclair (Homeward Bound 2016)

After the panel presentation there will be time for audience Q&A.

At the end of the session there will be an opportunity to network with your colleagues and peers over lunch (catering provided).
