FREE worm farm OR compost bin per household for residents who live in Campbelltown, Camden & Wollondilly LGAs!
Be part of the War on Waste! Learn how to set up and start your own organic recycling station at home by turning food scraps, house and yard waste into fantastic fertiliser and rich soil conditioner for your vegetable and ornamental gardens.
The presenter will also discuss the correct use of garden organic (green) bins and explain the importance of avoiding contamination.
This workshop is a must for every garden and gardener, food waste warriors and anyone who wants to reduce organic waste going to landfill.
Eligible Participants
This workshop is for residents of the Macarthur Strategic Waste Alliance region which includes any resident from Camden Council, Campbelltown City Council & Wollondilly Shire Council who has not already received free hardware under this program. Limit of one FREE receptacle per household.
COVID Safe Plan
MCSL has a COVID Safe plan. This workshop is limited to 22 adults. Social distancing requirements & public health regulations will be observed. All equipment will be sanitised before and after the workshop. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will be provided.
