Learn how to turn food scraps and garden waste into soil conditioner and take home a FREE worm farm OR compost bin!

About this event

All attendees will receive a FREE worm farm OR compost bin!

Be part of the War on Waste! Learn how to set up and start your own organic recycling station at home by turning food scraps, house and yard waste into fantastic fertiliser and rich soil conditioner for your vegetable and ornamental gardens.

The presenter will also discuss the correct use of garden organic (green) bins and explain the importance of avoiding contamination.

This workshop is a must for every garden and gardener, food waste warriors and anyone who wants to reduce organic waste going to landfill.

The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living is a not-for- profit, community-focused organisation that aspires to be a world class educational facility and model for the promotion of sustainable technology and practices in homes, urban precincts and businesses.

The Centre’s key message, is to protect our environment through education; showcasing how people can live a sustainable lifestyle.
