World Singing Day Perth 2019
It's that time of year again where we celebrate our communities and gather together to unite the world in song.
Come and join us as we sing along to well known classic karaoke songs in Yagan Square with the song lyrics clearly displayed on the giant digital screen for everyone to join in.
Singing is an art form that connects across all cultures and communities. There is no qualifying requirement apart from the desire to come together and sing. The repertoire is chosen in a way that will engage the diversity in our community reaching out to those in the suburbs as much as those in the inner city.

Sue has been working with World Singing Day for the past 3 years and has grown the event in Perth to be one of the largest community singalongs in the region. Sue is setting a new standard for how communities sing together in a relaxed setting without fear of performing. Her commitment to community singing for children and adults is changing the way that the word ‘choir’ is perceived. As Australia Host Coordinator for World Singing Day she specializes in leading a team of hosts across the country and managing the WSD Perth event for the local community in Yagan Square. Sue is director and founder of Choirs4kids and VividVoices with previous experience over 20 years organising events within the community.
