Pope Francis has encouraged dioceses throughout the world to organise local celebrations of the 10th World Meeting of Families being held in Rome from June 22 - 26. The theme for the event is Family love: a vocation and a path to holiness which will be explored at the gathering through a series of age appropriate (parents/youth/children) formation sessions using resources that have been prepared by the Life, Marriage & Family Network - Australia.

The gathering will begin with a BBQ lunch and provide a good opportunity for socialising. Family games will follow to provide a fun start to the event. A plenary session will break open the theme of the World Meeting of Families for the whole group. A series of video based talks and discussions will take place in small groups for parents/teens and children. The event will finish with an opportunity for families to pray and reflect on how they can grow in love and holiness.
