Event description

Description

What is the best way to tell your story; to structure and craft it? Should you go for fiction or non-fiction, novel or memoir, autobiography or short story? There are techniques common to all genres and hybrids that cross the boundaries. At the heart of story is imagination and the technique of scene construction.

Through information, discussion, writing exercises and feedback, discover various aspects on the art of story.

Arnold Zable is an acclaimed writer, novelist and human rights advocate. His work ranges across genres, from fiction to non-fiction, novels to memoir, and his books include Jewels and Ashes, The Fig Tree, Café Scheherazade, Scraps of Heaven, Sea of Many Returns, Violin Lessons and, most recently, The Fighter.
