ABOUT KIRSTEN & ASHLEIGH STALLARD
A dynamic sister duo, Kirsten and Ashleigh Stallard bring a friendly and approachable style to hosting workshops. They are keen to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable to share their experiences and learn a heap along the way!
Kirsten works as a freelance marketing consultant on the Gold Coast, but on any given day you'll find her directing the marketing efforts of leading sustainable fashion champion Undress Runways. Kirsten co-founded the non-profit organisation in 2011 and has helped it grow throughout the country, and gain international exposure.
Kirsten's background in marketing began after finishing her studies at QUT and diving headfirst into a career with a large, Australian fin-tech brand. She spent a lot of time navigating the ins and outs of digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO, and now uses that knowledge to help small businesses get their stories told and their online presence working for them.
Kirsten's goal is to help great branding, beautiful story-telling and products with a purpose come together, giving life to the passion of bright, young business owners.
Diving into the world of agency PR fresh from her journalism studies, Ashleigh has worked with organisations both big and small around Australia for almost 10 years.
From entrepreneurs to property developers, professional services to not-for-profits, Ashleigh loves the challenge of getting messages seen and heard by the right audience.
Ashleigh is keen to help and mentor others, be it small business owners, creatives, university students or CEOs. She regularly shares her industry knowledge as a university tutor in media relations, at university guest lectures and panels, and through hosting workplace interns.
Alongside her agency work, Ashleigh has managed in-house communications and now works for Queensland’s local government association. Her passion for conscious consumerism is channeled through her blog, Shift.
