We would like to invite you to an online Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP) workshop as part of the Gippsland Smart Specialisation Strategy (GS3) for seaweed farming in Gippsland. This is the next phase of work following on from our Gippsland Seaweed Symposium in April 2021.

This workshop will focus on the potential jobs and skills required for a commercial seaweed farming industry, and how these skills may align with existing skills in the region, particularly those from workforces going through transition in Gippsland. 

The workshop will involve short presentations and collaborative discussion from  stakeholders about what needs to happen in order to facilitate the development and training of a commercial seaweed industry workforce in the Gippsland region. The workshop will aim to a have a wide range of stakeholders involved from government, research/education, industry, and the local community.
