The NEMA Cross-Sector Communities of Practice is inviting organisations from the Disability, Mental Health and Aged Care sector to attend a half day workshop on developing person-centred documentation with clients and participants, Friday 28 October.
The workshop will provide organisations with the necessary skills and insight to transform their person-centred documentation in new, creative and innovative ways. The workshop will focus on practical outcomes supported by strong academic rigour with global perspectives, and showcase best practice for implementation. Presenters on the day will include experts in the field who have extensive experience in individualised planning, developing agreements with people who have complex communication needs and advocating for the legal rights of people with diverse needs.
Organisations have volunteered to showcase their person-centred documentation and share their learnings and challenges with sector. Service providers will have the opportunity to evaluate the documents put forward, and develop their own on the day.
Morning tea will be inculded.
