As a Print and Pattern Agent for International and Australian designers Nerida Hansen showcases and sells on behalf of creatives and artists to generate income for their works.
Over the course of five weeks Nerida will be hosting a series of workshops that aim to prepare and develop existing or emerging artists in their creative careers. Each workshop is valuable on its own, whilst attending all five will set you up with a thorough theoretical understanding, combined with practical application.
WEEK ONE: Introduction to Creative Career Pathways
Kicking things off with Introduction to Creative Career Pathways you’ll identify new opportunities to suit your goals and aspirations as an artist or designer, whilst understanding the various means to earn income from your creative pursuit.
Drawing upon knowledge and experience in an open format, Nerida will work alongside you to provide a greater understanding of how artists and designers are making money in the real world – both on a national and international scale.
Looking at pathways and the associated skills and abilities required to succeed, Nerida will also provide a realistic view on how artists can develop themselves professionally and creatively to enjoy a long term, sustainable creative career.
Using lots of conversation, case studies and question time, this is an enjoyable and interactive workshop, which aims to inspire and set the foundation for the weeks to come.
*It is not mandatory, but highly recommended that you attend this workshop if you’re interested in the following weeks workshops*
Tickets are $50 + BF and available via the above link.
