Workshop Description

Join us for a 1.5 hour (90-minute) hands-on workshop for absolute beginners of any age.

Build an mBot Coding Robot from scratch before learning how to use block code to bring it to life. Your little mBot then needs to venture out on its own to complete a challenge without your help; can it succeed?

You will use a hand tool and tablet to create an interactive robot that gives you instant feedback on your new skills based on its behaviour.

What to Bring

• Your interest to learn and join in the fun

• Kids under the age of 16 years require an adult over 18 years to remain with them throughout the workshop. The supervising adult doesn’t require a ticket but we welcome all ages to join in so why not grab a ticket too!

• This workshop will take place in the We Make space Waterside shopping centre, next to Jaycar. Level One, Rhodes Waterside, Shop 56B, 1 Rider Boulevard, Rhodes

COVID Guidelines/procedures

• We are restricting tickets to each workshop to allow for social distancing and will supply hand sanitiser to use on arrival and departure.

• Please do not attend the workshop if: you feel unwell, have symptoms of COVID 19, have been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID 19, or have returned from overseas travel within the past 14 days.
