WORKSHOP 5 - What do I need to know about speaking like a local?
In this workshop, you will learn about Australian slang and how to use it, and ways to develop your skills in speaking like a local.
“Speak Up!” is a program of online conversation workshops that will support you in your transition to university by enhancing your English language skills, supporting academic and social acculturation and fostering connections with your peers.
Speak Up! provides you with a safe space to practice and develop your English skills, build your confidence and familiarity with the University context and make friends. By joining in the program, you will be empowered to participate more fully in all aspects of University life.
