Please note: this event is run by the Small Business Development Corporation for small business owners in Western Australia only.
Strong businesses are built on a team with strong mental health and resilience.
This workshop will equip you with a range of tools to create an environment to develop and sustain positive general wellness.
This topic involves interactive activities covering:
- Learn about the brain, body and stress;
- Gain knowledge and skills for mindfulness;
- Assess the elements required for a mentally healthy workplace;
- Discover your wellness strengths and the areas to further develop;
- Create a plan for a work environment where people are happier, less stressed and more productive.
This session is for people:
- Who are ready to launch a business; or
- Any business owners who are interested in gaining more knowledge and clarification around developing wellness strategies for business.
The facilitator for this topic, Blow Your Own Mind, encourages, supports and motivates business owners to re-harness their power, understand their innate ability to succeed and overcome any obstacles. So that your business reaches its full potential they look at the person behind the business to help you understand your motivations and to encourage self-belief. They specialise in practical learning experiences using the latest technology to help businesses and communities thrive.
This session is presented by the SBDC, the only agency in the Western Australian Government dedicated to helping small business. In fact, we've been providing practical support to small business owners for more than 30 years.

Additional information for online workshop sessions
Please check your computer's suitability for online workshops, including its sound quality, browser, internet bandwidth and speed and video plugins (if required) before the start of the online workshop session. Camera and microphone capabilities are recommended to interact with online workshops.
Our online workshops are run as live, interactive sessions, similar to the format of our face-to-face sessions. For this reason, there is a limited number of tickets per session so our presenters can adequately interact with, and respond to, attendees. Recordings of these live sessions are not available if you do not attend the live event time.
