Workplace based behaviour change interventions
Wed. 9 November 2016, 9:15 am – 11:30 am AEDT
To create effective and efficient health interventions, we need to understand how and why people make health decisions, and as workplaces, how we can use this knowledge to create behaviour change for improved health.
Come along and hear about behaviour change theory and practical tips for behaviour change interventions within a workplace setting.
Receive resources to use for your workplace health and wellbeing programs.
Examples from local workplaces will also be used to illustrate how you can support behaviour change in your workforce.
Presenter: Alice Woodruff
Alice Woodruff specialises in behaviour change interventions and active transport planning. Alice has designed and delivered behaviour change interventions with communities across Australia, over 50 schools, and a host of workplaces including major corporates, as well as smaller businesses and retail centres. Influencing people’s behaviour is complex. To design and implement successful projects requires integrating disciplines and co-designing change with the people you are working with.
