Working with Male Perpetrators of Family Violence: Lessons and Reflections on Collusion

Due to regional demand, the Northern Integrated Family Violence Services Coordination Team is now offering a companion training to our popular: Identifying Family Violence: Responding to Women training.

Working with Male Perpetrators of Family Violence: Lessons and Reflections on Collusion will assist practitioners to effectively identify and respond to male perpetrators of family violence by learning how to identify and resist invitations to collude.

Delivered by Ada Conroy (NIFVS Workforce Development Worker and experienced men’s behaviour change practitioner) the training is designed for practitioners who may come into across male perpetrators in the course of their work. It is not men’s behaviour change facilitator training.

This half day training is open to practitioners is the northern metropolitan region who have attended Identifying Family Violence: Responding to Women (or similar) in the past two years.

Family violence workers who focus on responses to women and children are also welcome to attend.

Date: Wednesday 6 September 2017
