Description

This course provides an introduction to working in an Emergency Relief Centre (ERC) and will provide local government staff with the training and preparedness to undertake a role in an ERC. The course will cover:

  • Where the ERC sits in EM arrangements.

  • ERC Operations and Roles of Relief Agencies.

  • Functions of an ERC and the regional Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG's).

  • ERC Team Roles and Responsibilities.

  • Tools, templates and Checklists.

  • ERC Floor Plans & Precinct/Site Plans.

  • Discussion based exercises.
