Summary

Our Work Health and Safety Representative Training provides organisations with assurance that their elected health and safety representatives have the necessary knowledge and performance requirements to ensure that the organisations health and safety compliance requirements are met, and risks managed.

This program will provide training in the knowledge and performance requirements for individuals performing work health and safety (WHS) duties in addition to their main duties.

This program covers the performance and knowledge requirements for the six core units of competency of a Certificate III in Work Health and Safety.

• BSBWHS307 Apply knowledge of WHS laws in the workplace
• BSBWHS308 Participate in WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control processes
• BSBWHS309 Contribute effectively to WHS communication and consultation processes
• BSBWHS310 Contribute to WHS issue-resolution processes
• BSBWHS331 Participate in identifying and controlling hazardous chemicals
• PUAFER001 Identify, prevent and report potential facility emergency situations

Duration

This is a three day interactive and participatory workshop.
