Description

Do you wonder how authors are published? Are you a writer thinking about self-publishing? Or a reader curious about the whole process?

Self-published children’s author, Renee Price; author of over 70 books for children, adults and teens, Kaz Delaney; and contemporary women’s fiction and romance author Monique McDonell discuss with rom-com author Janette Paul (who also writes crime as Jaye Ford) their different publishing experiences.

The Write Here! Festival is a Writepad program part of a Lake Mac Libraries initiative that will deliver a range of author visits, literacy programs and opportunities for local writers.

Monique McDonell writes contemporary women's fiction including chick lit and romance and is the author of over 22 titles.

Renee Price is a children's picture book author, song-writer and performer, with 15 years collective experience in early childhood education, writing and entertainment.
She is the author of Digby's Moon Mission (2014) and Digby and the Yodelayhee Who? (2017), independently published through her brand, Create It Kids. Digby and the Yodelayhee Who? is listed on the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge Booklist (K-2).

Kaz Delaney is an award-winning author of more than 70 books for children, teens or adults written over a 25-year career. Her new venture is an independently published cozy mystery series.

Janette Paul, the rom-com alter-ego of bestselling suspense author Jaye Ford, has penned Alice and Amber and the ebook, Just Breathe.
