Join us for our screening of the WOMXN Documentary, a film capturing and celebrating the experiences of 11 talented and amazing artists.

About this Event

The WOMXN Documentary (35Mins long) was shot over a 2-3 month period capturing the making and exhibiting of 11 talented and amazing Western Australian artists.

The artist's involved were invited to exhibit artwork based on their own life experiences as a women and/or non-binary person and the exhibitions official opening was on the 8th of March 2019, International Women's Day at Spectrum Project Space at Edith Cowan University. The exhibition showed deep levels of empathy and vulnerability, discussing topic such as domestic violence, sexual violence, menopause and so on.

FEATURING ARTISTS Cian Holt, Shona McGregor, Janice Fawcett, Sophie La Maitre, Olivia Colja, Daisy Safrasky, Holly Yoshida, Emma Horvat, Omra Caoimhe, Stephanie De Biasi and Alaura Rachelle

DEC 7th 2019- doors open 11:30am for 12pm showing

$5 from every ticket will go towards are our amazing partners Preventing Violence Against Women - who assisted in making this documentary possible.
