This Course is for women (only) intermediate mountain bike riders with already a good fitness base (able to ride for 30-60 minutes currently) looking to increase their technical riding skills. The Course will be held over 4 x two hour sessions on the trails with sessions 1-3 at Daisy Hill Forest and the final session at Mt Cotton based on the "Chicks in the Sticks" course making for a perfect lead up to this event which falls on 27th Aug 2017.
The skills reviewed on this course will include Cornering, Braking, Berms, Pumping, Crossing an obstacle, Rock gardens and Stairs (as there is a long set to decend on the CITS course).
We ran this course in 2016 and recieved so much positive feed back from participants who did their first Mountain Bike Event in Chicks in the Sticks and said they wouldn't have prepared any other way!
The Session dates are July 23 (Sun), Aug 6th (Sun), Au 13th (Sun) and Aug 20st (Sun). (no session Sunday 30/7)
All sessions are 2:30pm - 4:30 pm
As the CITS courseis on a private property there is an levy to pay to access the course which we will pay on you behalf as part of the course fee.
If sold out a wait list will be available in the case that a registration becomes available from a participant cancelling or if sufficient numers on the wait list we will create an additional session.Wait list registrants will be advised and given first option in order of registration to accept. If sold out see other events on Eventbrite by searching on Mountain Bike Coaching Brisbane events.

Note: If you are planning on participating in the Chicks in the sticks event, you must enter the event with event organisers, the RATS Cycling Club.Your race entry is not part of this course registration.
Is there an age limit to enter the course?
Yes, you must be a minimum of 18 years of age to attend.
What do I bring to the event?
You will need a trail worthy Mountain Bike, an Australian standard complianced helmet, spare tube and tools for changing a tube on the trails, bar-ends on handlebars, functional brakes and a copy of your MTBA license. We would also reccomend gloves, sunglasses or eye dust protection, comfortable clothing ,a drink bottle or camelbak, a snack for on the trails.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a list of all registered and paid participants on the day.

What is an intermediate rider?
For the purpose of this course, an intermediate rider is one that can ride 30-60 minutes on a Mtb and can ride single trail and cross obstacles but does not understand the correct technical skills to do so.
