WHIN are pleased to welcome Ged Kearney MP, Federal Labor Member for Cooper and Shadow Minister for Skills, Aged Care, Health and Ageing as our guest speaker, alongside her colleague Senator The Hon Kristina Keneally, Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, Immigration, Citizenship and Government Accountability.
Ged and Kristina will talk about the challenges faced by women in federal politics today as well as some of the opportunities that exist in the lead up to the election.
We look forward to seeing you!
Women’s Health In the North acknowledges Victorian Aboriginal people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we provide our services – the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation – and pay our respects to their Elders past and present and emerging. WHIN acknowledges that Aboriginal sovereignty was never ceded and expresses hope for justice and reconciliation.
