Description

Why Join a Women's Circle?

In a world where we feel more and more disconnected, there is a growing yearning for meaning, purpose and connection.

We propose a solution: Women’s circles for the women who are hungry for shared stories of life experiences, to connect with others and want this all to happen for them in a safe environment; in a circle of like-minded women.

In a circle we practice:

- Understanding why we do what we do, the way we do it and make informed choices

- Connecting with ourselves and other women at a deeper, more authentic level

- Empathy for the self and others to become more resilient and able to tap into our inner strength

How do Women's circles work?

Each circle will take place once a month for two hours, as part of a three-month introductory program. The objectives of this introductory program are twofold:

- Raise awareness and curiosity for more

- Introduce women to the circle and the sisterhood

Each circle that will take place in Melbourne will cover a different topic:

Wednesday 23rd October 2019 Circle: Wheel and cycles

Thursday 20th November 2019 Circle: Mask

Tuesday 17th December 2019 Circle: Archetype

A circle can include the following activities: meditation, content sharing, practising the creation of a safe space for authenticity, active listening, self-reflection and journaling.

Who are the facilitators?

Our experienced hosts Victoria & Katherine will be guiding the group of women into the circle process.

Victoria Plaksin is a company director (GAICD), experienced facilitator, psychotherapist and executive coach supporting organisations and individuals on a journey to conscious living. She brings a multi-disciplinary toolkit to unlock the power of emotional (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ) that bring a deeper level of awareness, connection and impact by becoming Quantum Leaders. Victoria is also a graduate of School of Shamanic Womancraft, with particularly passion for empowering women to fully embody the conscious feminine values and practices in their life and work.

Katherine Cunningham has been stalking the core purpose of the menstrual experience since 1995. Exploring the why and the how to use this force of nature for good not evil. She has sought how to harness this fertile force so that any woman can learn to be deeply within her innate power. With a gentle core strength she will hold you safely through the threshold of profound change. She is an activist, an educator, a writer, a mother, a lover of life and ALL the juicy in it!
