Women Walking With Women - Women of Service
Come along and join us for a 'bring your own food to share' dinner with other women - everyone welcome!
There are many women in our community who would love to share a meal with other women. Regardless of their faith, their personal circumstances or their age. Without any ongoing obligation, expensive menu or long distance to travel at night. Where they know that they will be welcomed regardless of their income, occupation or hobbies.
The first Women Walking With Women dinner was held at St Paul's Canterbury on 5 July 2013. It was a lovely evening where a variety of women brought along some food and drinks to share and enjoyed a great time sharing stories and reviewing quotes about women and walking.
This time, we are going to hear from some local women who provide special services to the Canterbury Community and participate in a fun activity created by Sue Parker from the CWA Boroondara (indoors - no walking involved). They will tell us what they do and why they do it - truly inspirational!
It will be a combined event where women from various groups around Canterbury (and their friends and family members) are invited to join us. There is no cost to attend.
REMEMBER: Every woman of any age or background is welcome!
When you register, please indicate what you can bring to share:
__ pre-dinner nibbles
__ savoury dish
It can either be home-made or purchased.
It is free to attend but we do need to receive your registration to confirm numbers.
Any questions, please contact Sue Ellson 0402 243 271 firstname.lastname@example.org or Kate Lord 0425 730 042 email@example.com
We will be starting at 6:30pm but officially not starting until just after 7pm to welcome later arrivals. We are expecting a range of women including young adults, kinder mums, CWA members, church parishioners, local businesswomen, Canterbury residents, friends and family members.
