Women Walking With Women - Christmas and End of Year Traditions
Come along and join us for a 'bring your own food to share' High Tea with other women - everyone welcome!
There are many women in our community who would love to share afternoon tea with other women. Regardless of their faith, their personal circumstances or their age. Without any ongoing obligation, expensive menu or long distance to travel. Where they know that they will be welcomed regardless of their income, occupation or hobbies.
The first Women Walking With Women dinner was held at St Paul's Canterbury on 5 July 2013. It was a lovely evening where a variety of women brought along some food and drinks to share and enjoyed a great time sharing stories and reviewing quotes about women and walking.
The second dinner on 4 October 2013 featured inspiring women from the local area talking about their contribution to Scouting, the Country Women's Association and Local Ministry with an additional presentation on Women Standing in their Power.
This time, we would like to share stories about Christmas and End of Year Traditions at a High Tea. You will hear what happens in various homes at this special time of the year and hopefully, some of the food that will be shared will have some special ingredients.
IF YOU HAVEN"T RECEIVED A CHRISTMAS PARTY INVITATION YET, COME AND JOIN US!
The event is designed for women who live around Canterbury and their friends and family members - but every woman is welcome to join us. There is no cost to attend.
REMEMBER: Every woman of any age or background is welcome!
When you register, please indicate what you can bring to share (with a Christmas or End of Year flavour):
