Event description

Description

Sandra Baigel of Voice & Word equips business and industry leaders, managers and influencers with techniques to enhance their unique voice quality, and increase their impact in spoken contexts. When business professionals combine clear speech practices with effective delivery skills and vocal presence, they are better able to hold attention, build trust, and foster relationships that grow and sustain businesses.

This female only event will provide participants with insights into the value and impact their unique voice brings to their communication within professional contexts.
This includes:

  • Face-to-face conversations with colleagues and clients
  • Individual contribution at meetings and to group discussions
  • Virtual communication parameters (telephone/mobile and web contexts)
  • Presentations that are delivered to specific audiences at work

Desired outcomes for participants include:

  • How to achieve clarity in the message and its delivery
  • How to use one’s unique capacity to communicate in a congruent style in
  • each context
  • How to identify and sustain confidence when speaking informally and
  • formally at work
  • How to harness personal and professional courage when communicating one-to-one and one-to-many

At the close of the workshop, participants will be invited to choose a context in which to test their vocal impact via the audio snapshot service on the Voice & Word website. Each participant will then receive confidential feedback on their Audio Snapshot by the facilitator.
