"Women Leading Locally-It's Time"Multicultural Women's Information Session

ALGWA SA (Australian Local Government Women's Association South Australian Branch Inc) would love women from multicultural backgrounds to come along to its free information session at the Multicultural Communities Council of SA, 113 Gilbert Street, Adelaide.

Come and find out more about nominating for council (local government) 2022 election. Nominations open on Tuesday 23 August 2022 and we want to give you the best chance to succeed if you do decide to stand.

Venue: Multicultural Communities Council of SA, 113 Gilbert Street, Adelaide.

Parking: 2 hour ticket machine Saturdays. Suggest park on South Terrace (south side) and walk down Owen Street to Gilbert Street, turn left to MCCU. Or catch public transport : https://mccsa.org.au/contact/#publictransport

The Session: Please arrive by 9:30pm to allow time to get your free information resource pack. The session starts at 10am and ends at 12pm.

ALGWA SA members will be facilitating the session.

Sama Reid (Manager Marketing & Communications, Local Government Association SA) and Sally Scantlebury (Electoral Commission of South Australia) may be available to answer questions.

We will be going through the free resource pack. There will be time for questions and answers. If you have a name-badge, please bring it to wear (we will have stick-on labels as well).

Refreshments: Tea/coffee/water and biscuits will be provided. You can bring your own water container if you like.

Health: Please follow COVID & Flu safe practices when attending:Stay home if you are unwell;Keep distance between yourself and other attendees; Wear a mask if you wish; Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser.
