Join the Australian Volunteers Program to discuss the role of women's leadership in driving change in our region.

About this Event

The Australian Volunteers Program invites you to join us we delve into the role women's leadership plays in influencing sustainable and meaningful change. There will be time to network and enjoy a working lunch.

Hosted by Beth Eggleston from the Humanitarian Advisory Group, the event will include

  • presentation from Rebecca Bryant, Assistant Secretary of Humanitarian Response, Risk and Recovery, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
  • panel discussion with Dr Nguyen Thi Duong Nga from Vietnam National University of Agriculture and Anh Pham, agriculture researcher and volunteer, on the role of women's leadership in agriculture;
  • closing remarks from Melanie Gow, CEO of AVI

The presentations will be streamed online for interstate and international partners. If you can't attend in person, register to join the conversation online.

Formal proceedings will conclude at 2pm
