Description

Following the Border's first Women in STEM gathering early in May 2017, North East Local Learning and Employment Network have been granted funds from the YMCA (via Border Trust) to assist with the establishment of a Women in STEM Community of Practice in the Albury-Wodonga region.

Come along to our next breakfast gathering on the morning of 28 November 2017.

Our guest speakers for the event are:

Karen Brawn - Halve Waste Project Manager

Over 17 years experience and knowledge working for multinational FMCG companies in a blend of Business Development, Operational, Research & Development and Customer Service roles and most recently, experience and knowledge working in a Waste Education & Halve Waste Program Manager role.

Jill Briggs - Rural Training Initiatives Managing Director

Jill Briggs upgraded her studies from Bachelor of Education to a Post Graduate Diploma in Adult Learning. She has worked with rural communities throughout Victoria and has extensively worked with the Australian Dairy, Seafood, Citrus and Sugar industries.

We look forward to catching up with you and sharing the progress of our Women In STEM project.
