About this event

The manufacturing sector has received significant attention in this past year. COVID-19 has highlighted the ability of manufacturers to innovate and evolve, bringing with it a resurgence of locally produced products. Attracting, retaining and promoting highly skilled women into this sector will be a key to further innovation and growth.

We invite you to join us for our fourth year of Women in Manufacturing celebrations. We will be discussing Queensland’s manufacturers ability to innovate, the impact a strong manufacturing sector has on the economy, and the opportunities and importance for women to contribute to and actively shape the future of the sector.

Facilitated by Mel Ireland, Policy and Projects Lead from Ai Group, our panelist include:

  • Jasmine Riddle, Operations Manager - JRS Manufacturing Group
  • Jo Best, Executive Manager - Hastings Deering (Australia) Limited
  • Sharana Pillay, Supply Chain Manager - GM Poles

PLEASE NOTE: information for contact tracing will be required. All social distancing regulations are to be followed.

This event is brought to you by Ai Group in partnership with the Queensland Government
