What is Women with Purpose and who is it for?

It’s a program designed especially for high potential professional women who aspire to be exemplary leaders.  It’s for any women who is dedicated and committed to developing herself professionally and wants to reach her full potential.

It’s a program that compliments traditional leadership programs. It includes content that’s not usually covered but is entirely relevant for the challenges that women leaders face today.

It’s a program designed to get more women into leadership roles.

What’s in the program?

Women with Purpose is run over 1 day and built around 3 complimentary constructs:

Impact: There is no more important skill in attaining success -- personal and professional -- than your ability to communicate effectively and with impact. Communication is not just about the WHAT it’s ALL about the HOW.

Influence: This is a key leadership skill.  You work with and through other people as a leader and if you can’t influence you can’t succeed.  There is a specific psychology and neurology of influence that you can learn which will make you more effective.

Image: Your personal branding and how others perceive you contributes to your success as a leader.  Perception is everything, so learn to manage yours to be successful.

The program incorporates blended learning strategies to ensure the women that attend have the opportunity to maximise their learning.  For those organisations that adopt the 70/20/10 principles of development, participants will be given a tool kit that they can use to continue the learning back in their workplace.

The structure of the program optimises learning outcomes so that successful strategies can be taken and used immediately back in the workplace.

Achieving gender diversity is a journey we are still on.  It requires the commitment of everyone in an organisation, but one of the best places to start is with the women themselves.

On the day you will learn (amongst other things)....

  • What are the leadership criteria those that define good leadership (your personal leadership brand)
  • How to define your own leadership style and what being a great leader looks like for you
  • The role unconscious stereotyping and bias plays
  • How to develop and manage your status
  • How to find your voice and really be heard at the leadership table
  • How to be a successful influencer and persuader
  • To identify any 'gaps' in your leadership and develop strategies to 'close' them
PS Did you know that organisations that have at least one woman on their boards outperformed those with all male boards by 26%

The workshop will be followed by an ‘Hour of power’ networking event with an opportunity you to invite other women who want to expand their relationships and networks in an informal environment.
