Introducing Sonia Houria Rivas

Sonia is a firecracker, cheeky and loving. Her passion is to create community in a fun environment while fostering a sense of empowerment in the people around her.

Her background is unusual in that she is a trained lawyer and practised in the Netherlands and France before turning a full 180 and moving to Australia in 2014. She then qualified in project and program management and found that none of this ignited her any longer.

She is a true believer in the magic of the world and loves igniting the magic within others.

Believing in leading by example, she set out to find what lit her up and tuned into her deep truth. Her curiosity and holistic view on life led her to become a guide in meditation, an energy healer, a personal trainer and to merge all of her skills and her passion for surfing under one umbrella: Women Make Waves, her Work of Love.

Sonia’s goal is to show the world and in particular women that in the right setting, we can all harness the power of our mind, body and soul to create and lead the life we dream of.
