About this Event

Join Business In Common and Rustico Tapas for a Breakfast by the Beach to celebrate the achievements of women in business locally in Australia and across the globe.

The theme for the morning will be ‘Passion and Purpose’ with speakers sharing their personal journey of finding their passion and purpose and what they’ve learned about passionate and influential women. They will also share their top tips for finding your purpose and how this can benefit our community and others.

Amanda Viviers

Amanda Viviers has published seven books and is a presenter on radio across New Zealand and Australia. She writes often on her blog about leadership, life and passion at amandaviviers.com

Amanda is the co-founder of Kinwomen a network designed to help women start conversations that matter. Founder of Secrets in the Bay; an online space designed to advocate for her love of everything local in the Rockingham region. She grew up in "The Bay" and travelled the world and decided that everything she had been seeking around the world could be found in our little corner south of Perth.

Teaching is her passion and her workshops can be found online at "The Boardroom Retreat". An online space designed for professional and personal development for leaders. Wife of Charl and Mum of Maximus and Liberty, she lives a creative life, longing to see people live inspired.

Vanessa Phillipson

Vanessa Phillipson is the owner operator behind the hugely successful and award winning Rustico Tapas Restaurant brand. A background in sales & advertising, managing large teams and a string of corporate experiences saw Vanessa take the leap into business ownership a decade ago when she launched the first Rustico in her home town of Rockingham.

A passion for food & wine combined now with 25 years experience in restaurants, Vanessa is equally passionate about investing in processes and professional development so that she can provide rewarding long term opportunities for all members of her team of 60.

“Our aim is to create the best practice restaurants in Australia. You can expect accurate, disciplined, consistent & motivating communication and a solid recruitment strategy that attracts and retains key staff”.

Anoushka Marie

After starting her own Dominoes pizza franchise at 23 and then having a successful landscaping business with her husband Dan, Anoushka’s life came to a standstill when their first daughter was diagnosed with Retinablastoma at six months old.

This resulted in two years of treatment and while it was an incredibly hard time, it helped her learn resilience and how to face lifes challenges. Because of the potential of ongoing treatment, Anoushka and her husband started John Taylor Watches in 2016 and are now in a range of stores throughout Australia and ship around the world.

Anoushka Marie, a local to Mandurah also works as an online influencer with a range of brands and her passion is inspire women to go after their dreams and never let anything hold them back.

SUPPORTING CHARITY

The charity we will be supporting for this event is Soul Inc. or better known as SOUL Soup Patrol and their program 'Village Women'. Village Women is a new initiative of Soul Inc. to create community and education for women on a journey of discovery.
