Description

A Promising Career Insight - Aviation and Crew Resource Management

Please join us in an engaging talk with Cherish McNamara as she travels across her career path from an airforce pilot to consultancy and training.

Guest Lecturer Cherish McNamara has spent ten years in the US air force as a pilot and instructor, and since then has worked in training design and development for another ten years in the Australian civilian sector. She has worked for companies such as IDAT (International Defence and Aerospace Training), CAE, and Jacobs Australia, was an RePL (drone) trainer and assessor, and is currently a Training and Delivery Manager at Western Power.

She will be sharing with us some of the experience she has collected over those years, including what it's like to be a woman in a traditionally male-dominated service such as the USAF. Cherish will also discuss her work in training and development, with a focus on aircrew management.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided before the lecture. Please bring with you a re-usable cup (with lids) :-)
