Women in Agriculture Lunch and Learn Event 2022 - Casino

In partnership with Essential Energy, SafeWork NSW will host the Women in Agriculture Lunch and Learn series for 2022.

Targeting women working on farms or connected to the agricultural/rural industry, the event will focus on safety on farms and in industry more broadly.

Essential Energy is dedicated to partnering with customers to help raise awareness of the dangers of working near the electricity network, including while working on the land.

SafeWork NSW Inspectors and Essential Energy Safety Business Partners will present, provide resources, and answer questions about:

• Safety while working near the electricity network
• Electrical safety
• Emergency preparedness and response
• Safety around your farm vehicle
• At risk workers/contractors.

By participating in the interactive event, you will have the opportunity to speak with presenters connected to the sector and network with like-minded women in agriculture.

By attending the event, you may be eligible to apply for the following rebate programs:

• Small business rebate of up to $1,000
• Quad bike safety improvement program up to the value of $2,000
• Aerial marker installation free of charge (conditions apply).
