Women and Digital Health: What Works for You? What Doesn’t?
Wed. 2 November 2016, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm AEDT
Do you ever Google health and medical information? Use health, fitness and medical apps? Participate in online discussion forums, Twitter chats or Facebook groups about health, exercise and medical issues? Wear a fitness tracker or use a platform like Strava? Engage in self-care using digital technologies for a chronic disease? Play Wii Fit or Xbox Kinect sport, dancing or fitness games?
…Or are you not doing any of these things?
The University of Canberra and the Women’s Centre for Health Matters invite you to take part in a community forum addressing the topic of how Canberra women from a wide range of backgrounds use (or don’t use) digital health technologies.
We are interested in hearing about what you think about these kinds of technologies, how you use them, which you find most helpful or useful, which you don’t. What do you want from these technologies that is not currently offered?
If you are interested in being involved in these discussions then please register to attend!
Register by 26th October to attend.
Refreshments will be provided.
We would love to hear what you have to say!
