Have you heard of the Office for Women and the Women’s Information Service?
Does your organisation provide any services or support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women?
Would you like to hear about the services provided to women and service providers at the Women’s Information Service or ATSI projects being managed by the Office for Women Policy Team?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you and any staff/colleagues that have contact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are invited to attend a WIS (Women’s Information Service) Talk at our premises at 101 Grenfell Street. You will hear about the range of services and support offered and how we can assist service providers. The Office for Women Policy Officer for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Initiatives will also share information about current and future programs and projects.
The Office for Women and Women’s Information Service also want to engage with service providers, to hear about what services are offered to the community. If you have brochures, please bring them along with you so that they can be added to our collection and put on display for the public. Do we already have your brochures in our shopfront? That’s ok, we would still welcome you to come along and engage with us and get up to date with the services at the Office for Women. We encourage a representative from your organisation to come along, have a yarn and a roundtable sharing conversation whilst hearing how the Office for Women and the Women’s Information Service can help you.
The session will be held on Friday 21 October 2016 from 10.00am – 12noon.
Access to accurate and timely information enables women to make informed decisions about their lives.
