 Come and join us for a relaxed evening in front of the fire to hear from four recently returned Churchill Fellows who will share highlights and reflections from their journey.

  • Megan Gilmour who was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2016 to investigate education system models for maintaining school connection for seriously sick children.

  • Alasdair Roy who was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2015 to examine the characteristics of successful child safe and child-friendly policy and practice.

  • Jason Cummings who was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2016 to explore innovative conservation Trust business models, partnerships, policy settings and community drivers to facilitate the adoption and tailoring of arrangements in Australia.

  • Ruth Osborne who was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2016 to research youth dance programs focused on career pathways, mentorship and creative collaborations. 

Light catering will be provided. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.

It is free to attend this session but bookings are essential. Please register to attend this event.

There is ample parking available at The Mercure. You need to drive through the boom gate to access the parking lot. The ticket issued at the boom gate can be validated free of charge at reception.

ACT Churchill Fellows' Association

The Australian Capital Territory Churchill Fellows' Association Inc (ACT CFA) is an affiliate of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, with a membership made up of recipients of Churchill Fellowships in the ACT. The ACT CFA aims to encourage Churchill Fellows to:

  • disseminate information about their fields of interest 
  • provide opportunities for new Fellows 
  • to meet other Fellows and assist them in any way possible 
  • represent the interests of Churchill Fellows in the ACT 
  • support visiting Fellows provide information about Fellowships to potential applicants.
