Description

Join our annual Wine Appreciation Lunch on Sunday 10th June (from 11:30am to 2:30pm) with resident vineyard Viticulturist Kevin Murtagh and Mr Peter Orr.

Topics covered will include the human senses (sight, smell and taste), how to taste like a professional, wine show judging, varietal characters and food and wine paring.

All washed down with a five-course lunch including Cajun prawns, confit chicken breast and eye fillet to whet your appetite.


5 Course Degustation Menu

1st course – Bruschetta with tomato, bocconcini and basil
Wine - Lona Sparkling Semillon

2nd course – Cajun prawns resting on charred sweet corn salsa and petite salad
Wine – Lona Sparkling Blush

3rd course – Confit chicken breast with crispy prosciutto and potato rosti
Wine – Molly Marsanne

4th course – Pepper rubbed eye fillet on sweet potato rounds with broccolini and Shane Shiraz jus
Wine – Shane Shiraz

5th course – Rum raisin bread pudding
Wine – Petes Port
