Women In Music Sydney and Jaxsta are proud to present a night on mental health in the music industry: Well being / at work / for music people - In Conversation with Jo Cave (Support Act) and Tim Kelly (AIM). Featuring two of the most respected figures in the Australian music industry, this insightful talk will address struggles and challenges faced by musicians and music industry professionals, and the ways we can overcome them, as we head into the new year. It all kicks off at 6pm on Tuesday 27 February at APRA AMCOS (Cafe area, ground floor). Grab your tickets now to avoid missing out! Tickets are $25 and include food and drink on the night.


Jo Cave:
Joanna has over 20 years CEO experience in charity and not-for-profit organisations in the UK and Australia. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Copyright Law and is a graduate of the British Prime Minister's Leadership Programme. In 2013, Jo was appointed as Support Act's first Chief Executive.

Tim Kelly:
Tim is a known and respected music business specialist. From the grass roots of writing fanzines, roadying and playing in punk bands, Tim co-founded One Little Indian Records prior to joining Rough Trade Records where he established strong international connections and expertise. Following migration to Australia, Tim joined the teams of major labels in Sony and Universal where he built a reputation for marketing, management, passion for music and industry advocacy via the ARIA chart committee. After 15 years Tim returned to his love of independent music as MD of Inertia Music. He is currently an academic lecture at the Australian Institute of Music. He is a facilitator and coach for companies and individuals in high performance Thinking Environments and has a vision to bring this transformative work to creative teams.
