Wimmera/South West: MARAM Collaborative Practice Training 4 March 2026
Overview
This training is open to any professional in the Wimmera and South West regions who respond to family violence.
This training will explore how to contribute to risk assessment and collaborate for on-going risk assessment through respective, sensitive engagement with people impacted by family violence, guided by information sharing, referrals and secondary consultations.
The MARAM Collaborative Practice is a part of the suite of training under the MARAM Framework for practitioners responding to family violence.
This is not risk assessment training, but forms an integral component of the MARAM suite of training for professionals responding to family violence.
The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre will be delivering this training in collaboration with partnering organisations.

Time: 9:30am - 4pm (including breaks)
Venue: Online
Participants are required to attend the full day.
For online sessions you are required to have a working microphone and camera on your device.
Before attending, all participants are required to:
- Read the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework: Foundation Knowledge
- Watch the Helping End Family Violence – the Information Sharing Schemes and MARAM film (3.57mins)
- Watch 'Let's change the story' - violence against women in Australia (4.26 mins)
