Event description

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your application to study a Patisserie Course at the William Angliss Institute for the February 2018 Intake!

The next step in the application process is attending an Interview Day. On your Interview Day you will receive important information on the course that you applied for, we will assess your eligibility to study in a government subsidised place, and you will have a short interview with Institute staff to ensure that you are applying for a course that is right for you. Please note that you must attend an Interview Day and bring the required documentation in order to be offered a place in the course.

Prior to your Interview Day, please collect the following documentation and bring it with you on your registered day. This documentation is an important part of your application, so please read the list carefully.

You must bring the following items with you to the Interview Day:

1. A Pre-Training Review Form with sections 1-3 completed.

This form can be found on the William Angliss Website at:

2. Valid and current identification. Please bring an original (no copies) of one of the following:

An Australian Birth Certificate

A current Australian Passport

A current New Zealand Passport

A Naturalisation Certificate

A Temporary Protection Visa

A Green Medicare Card

Formal Documentation issued by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship confirming permanent residence

If the document you choose to bring from the list above does not show your date of birth, you will also need to bring one of the following:

A Current Driver’s License

A Current Learner Permit

A Proof of Age Card

A ‘Keypass’ Card

3. A Unique Student Identifier (USI)

Since January 1, 2015, all students enrolling in a nationally recognised training program are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you already have a USI, please bring it with you to your Interview Day. If you do not have a USI, or have forgotten it, please visit to create/retrieve one. It is free and easy, and shouldn’t take you longer than 15 minutes.

If you have any further enquiries in regards to this interview session, please do not hesitate to contact the enrolments team at or by calling the Institute at 03 9606 2111.

We look forward to meeting you!
