Q: What's the single most important part of Wikipedia?
A: Citations
WikiCite is a project working to build a comprehensive knowledge base of sources, to support open, transparent and verifiable citation, fact-checking, and accuracy. Many Australian and New Zealand languages, authors, academics and subject areas are currently poorly served by Wikidata.
Come along and work with colleagues from education, libraries , publishing and Wikimedia to make our world more open.
Bring your laptop (wifi available). Learn about Wikidata and how it supports WikiCite projects, and then get started on contributing to this open data initiative.
